Have a alpha 1 merc 350 i/o that wont trim up going any faster than say 10mph...trims fine when going at lower speeds .It will go down when running but not up which is what you want . Been told its prolly the pump worn out as the prop is pushing it foward when at speed and it takes a lot of a$$ to push it back . Anyone else had this problem? Thanks , Bob
Try making sure the pump is 100% full, had the same prob and that fixed it.

Ok yeah I forgot to mention I checked fluid level and it was OK . Thanks

I would say pump problem. May be pump end or motor end. Buy a new one and go fishing and not worry about it for a long while!
P.S. Make sure your connection is clean and elec. passes easily! Could have a voltage drop with poor connection. Both pos. and NEG!
