Spent a few hours on Friday with Spot77 on the backend of the Bodkin...Rained the whole time, windy, generally miserable....But as he says, its better than working...Had fun with light and ultra light catching numerous perch, and a small blue of all things...I got a couple on the bottom...Spot77 tore em up with the Super Duper again.....
Today was much better took the wife and kids out. The kids are 4, 8, and 16...Took em back into the Creek again for a relaxing couple of hours....got about 10 perch while there, actually bigger than the ones we hit on Friday...But caught half of them in about 15 minutes...Got them all on fresh shrimp....
Still good to be out....Haven't seen any spot in weeks....Seems like they are no where near as plentiful this year as last....
Hope the other folks in the Dena are having better luck...
