I'm about to mount a transducer on the stern of my boat and the instructions say to seal the screw threads with marine sealant. I was wondering what you all would reccomend.
Thanks.

5200 is good below the water line. Just dont get in your hair. I wore it for weeks. Takes a while to cure. They also make a quick curing 5200 if you dont want wait.

Fully cured 7 days. Tack free 2 days. Not sure about the quick stuff. West Marine and Boaters World have plenty of both.

Yeah, I went to $West Marine$ and got some quick drying. 1 hour tack/24 hour cure. Thanks.

3m 4200 is a better bet if you ever want to take the transducer off, 5200 is for things that are expected to be a permanent part of the boat.
