Looking to head out on Saturday for some yellowing out of IRI. Anyone still catching them on the 30?
I can only get out weekends due to a busy schedule and would like some advice.
What is amazing is that the florida fishery is so much easier. I have been working in Miami Beach for 3 years and you can always catch decent size fish on a $40 headboat. 20lbs Kings, 15lb Bonita, Grouper, Sails, etc
Wish we had that up our way

John,,
From what i have been hearing they are few and far between with the best chances near the trunk or further north. I sent you a PM.
Thanks

Yes it is funky. It all depends on how far south the front pushes.
It looks like we may get a good sat shot tommorrow and based on the shot from the 15th and what was reported about a temp break outside the dog, the break looks to be about 4 to 6 degrees from the dog up thru outside masseys to the north. All inside the 30.
We will see

We went to the 30 fathom line on Tuesday. Found YFT between the Tea Cup and the Trunk. Didn't find the temp. break that the maps indicated, plus alot of weeds kept fouling our lines. Went 3 for 6 hook-ups, with all the fish around 25 lbs.
