Choppy ride out. Put in at the 40 just south of the poormans. Had a couple short strikes then hook up a 70 lb Wahoo. Worked the area looking for his buddys but he no more bites so we headed south and put 7 dolphin in the box with him. Came back to the break inside the rock pile hoping for more bites but nothing happened. Nice ride back in. It's going to get better.

70lb hoo is a pig. It does sound like its now worth the effort!!

I'll try to post some pics but first I need to get them from the person who had the camera. We didn't weigh him but I'm 6'3" and with his nose on the deck the split of his tail was 2 or 3 inches below my chin and he was fat. Filled 12 gallon bags with meat. Hope to be back out soon.
