Looks like you grind up your meat before you make jerky?

We have tried making it using whole pieces of meat, and it turned out alright, but different pieces of meat meant differences in tenderness. Some were so tough you couldn't eat it, and others were great, nice and tender.

Could you post a recipe for your jerky?

DK,

I also use the grinds to make jerky...........never comes out tough like the sliced pieces.

Most of the recipes are for kits or seasoning mixes that are easy to find.

Of couse you need a jerky shooter but they are cheap in some kits.
