I like hunting over acorns too but it can be tough when you have 100 times more squirrels than deer.

And we all know they like acorns too!

We had a bumper crop last year in central va. Not this year! There are a few here and there. Should keep the deer on their feet more.

Finally a good old cold snowy winter. You can take that to the bank.:thumbup: They are predicting anywhere from 50-125 total inches for the Baltimore Washingotn area.

Not near as many acorns in Southside Va this year as last year. I did find a couple spots that had a tree or two dropping them and the deer are burning them up so its all good. Less acorns in the woods only means they will be moving more looking for them.

Looks like somebody needs to shoot some bushytails.

No acorns to speak of where I hunt also.
That means our clover plots and corn plots will work better this year than the last several years with acorns everwhere.
