OI Report 9/24

Fished Thursday. Left around 5 AM behind a charter. Work in inlet made the passage a little tense. Fished with the fleet until around 11AM. Six nibbles, 2 blackfins landed. Deep dropped until 2 PM. 15 tiles, one grouper, about a dozen seabass (caught on squid mainly). Maybe next time I will have a ZING, POW, POP, SCREAMING report! Craige (Mary E) PS WENDANA fished with us (buddy boat) and his catch was very similar to ours. Would not recommend an inlet passage with following a LOCAL.

Craig, any size to the tiles down there. The regs sure suck down there now. I'm sure VA will adopt similar regs one day soon.

Tiles in 50 fathoms were on the small size. Moved out and tried deeper, no luck. Back in to 246' and the size picked up to the 8-9 lb. class. Seabass bigger and a little better drift. No mark on my machine, just a spot I had found earlier. Craige
