Crabbing Effort Today 09-26-2009

Started around 7:00 Ended @ 11:00 We caught the High-Flood tide! Never dropped It was suppose to be low at 7:02?? Used 25 Collapsible Traps-Crabbing was very steady... It was a little windy at first then died down some. Managed to get a good bushel of real nice Crabs worked in the 5-6ft range of water-Water Temperatures surface 70 bottom 68 Caught a ton of 5" ones again & 49 Sooks All thrown back of coarse and at least 2-3 dozen paper shells... to be caught next week :yes: Most of the crabs were in the 5-1/2" to 7-1/4" p/p range with a few topping the 7-1/2" mark & one 8.2" bubba. Today’s catch included only 2 doublers. Caught two at one time several times Overall it was a Great Day and it can only get better :thumbup:
