Heading out tomorrow on the Headboat Queen Mary from Point Pleasant Beach. Target Bonita, Albacore, Mahi. Report back tomorrow.:

Well it was blowing pretty good out there today. Only 8 guys showed for the headboat, but it went anyway. 2 albies & 2 bonita on the whole boat. People were giving up and switching to bottom fishing. That produced some out of season fluke, small seabass, and the ever popular sea-robin. I personally had 1 albie, 3 seabass, 1 skate, and a nice fluke about 20". It took all my will to throw it back. I caught the albie using a 3/4 oz jig head and an electric chicken bass assasin. I have gotten mixed advice as to whether to eat the albie. The mate filleted it up nice, and I'm gonna try it. We'll see. Nice captain and mate. I would go again.

I go out on this headboat whenever i'm in town, lots o fun and the capt & mates "try hard" and usually catch alot
