For the first time I took my 24 Privateer to Whelan's Marine just below Warsaw. I needed a new stern drive and some other work. Its really great to see such first class service, they are honest and you get great work for a fair price, done on time. Keith and all the guys are absolutely great and I really felt like an appreciated customer. Plus they cleaned my boat after the work. They have a new loyal customer with me. Now with Mid-Atlantic Marine in Warsaw out of business I have a new place to go.

Tough luck for mid atlantic. It was the worst economic conditions to get started in the boat business, especially high end parkers. thats alot of overhead to pay for if its not moving.

Mike, we've used Whelan's since the early '90s and would echo your statement. Good honest work there...
Another attaboy for Whelans...Have my G. Bay there now for service and bought my outboards from them. Keith provides xlnt service....

I have deal with keith at whelan's for ten years, they are good, honest people. Glad to hear others agree.

Keith actually handled the deal with C-Hawk going out of business and getting the hull on my 18cc replaced under warranty. Great folks indeed.

This thread has me smiling!... I just sent Whelan's a $30K insurance check to fix my Grady that got dumped into the water engine-first during that big storm in June. Keith has been very responsive- he says that by the time he has it back up on my lift, it'll be better than before it got tossed.
