i found a couple of cracks in the welds in my factory hartop supports. need to find a welder repairperson in the del/md area. i live just outside middletown but boat is on a trailer. hopefully someone close or that comes to you as i will have to pull a bunch of wires out the tubes before they can weld it. might need some bracing too. this is the part i am not sure about. either post here or pm or email me.
thanks,
Barry

If you can't find anyone in your local area, you are welcome to pull your wires(this will save you about $200) and bring your boat down to Norfolk, Va. to S&S marine and we can have you fixed in about an hour or so, we usually fab-up gussets for extra support in problem areas. Feel free to give us a call at 757-588-1950

bravo-4 thanks for the reply. if i can't find anyone here i might just take you up on it. i put the wires in myself so taking them out i will do too. as a matter of fact i am heading with the wifey to the obx in 2 weeks. if i don't find anyone i might just drop it off onthe way down and pick her up on the way home.

If you are going to do that give us a call first if you could get there on a sat. morning you have a better chance of getting in, we have a three -four month waiting list for new tops and we work in repairs where we can, dealers and manufacturers keep our workload right at more than we can handle, but like I said, schedule it for a sat. morning and we can usually take care of it especially if we don't have to pull any wires.

bravo-4, again thanks for your offer to squeeze mw in while i was on vaca down in hatteras to squeeze me in but i have found a guy here close to home that i will be comfortable with. funny how i put out 8-10 local calls and you form norfolk were the 2nd to respond. all the ones i called 2 weeks ago are calling me back now saying they can do it and get me in. well the guy that called me back first is probably going tog et the job since he has returned all my callss from day one. again though thanks for the offer and i will keep you in mind for future work even thogh you are a ways away.
