Its hard to figure out if this is a good price - any thoughts?
OEM or Aftermarket??

If it's new it doesn't sound like a bad price to me. Check these prices out for comparison;

Make sure you get the correct gear ratio when you order or yo'll have problems.

May be too late to help you - there's a used Generation One Alpha One Outdrive in the Capital - new in 2004, used 40 hrs, includes SS prop. Asking price is $1000. Phone # 301-873-5009. Add was in Saturday, Oct.1st.

For an OEM Merc complete, it's a very good price. Aftermarkets are running about 1/2 that right now.
