Left with the first wave of charters out of the inlet flat calm ride out. Mike V, Pat, Fletch, Joey and myself. Trim tabs did not work so I was hoping for calm seas on the way in because it could have gotten sketchy. She bounces big time with out the tabs. Anyway, to the fishing. Not much to speak about. Started at the 780 in 200 fathoms greenish water. No one was doing well I guess a few guys had some decent catches but overall it was a very slow day. Caught a blackfin on the long rigger then we jigged up 3 more. They were very small. We could have jigged them all morning but decided look for larger fish. Nada. Went tile fishing in a new spot ended up great. Caught all we wanted tiles to 10lbs. School of vinegar dippers crashed us while we were tile fishing. Caught a few they were very small and let the rest go to get bigger. We could have slammed them but for what a sammich? Caught a shark that was cruising by. Back on the troll caught 4 or five bonitas and that was all she wrote. pretty day out there couldn't buy a YFT bite. Get em next weekend.
