I fish on a 25 WA with a 250 Yammie 2 stroke(inlaws boat) offshore all the time. We fish shark, tuna blues stripers ect. The boat is fast, dry & has a decent ride for its size. She holds plenty of fuel (160+/- gal) for a canyon trip & a full day of trolling. The boat has a full hardtop, I would not get one without that option. It allows for rod storage, extra electronics, outriggers & protection from the weather. The boat is stable in rough weather & runs with most others in its class. The only thing that has passed by at sea was a bigger Cat & a go fast CC. The come with a huge livewell, fishbox & 6 tackle drawers.

After 6 years in the salt & rough offshore conditions the boat has held up well. Some minor rewiring has been required & a stress crack or two has popped on the deck area, but I have not been on a boat without a stress crack here and there. Over all, the boat is a great performer for the size

I used to own a 1980 Cobia and fished it all over NJ and then down here when I moved here in 1987. I finally sold it in 1996. It was a good boat. I was telling the wife the other day that I should have kept even though we had bought a bigger boat. I really liked that boat.[excited][excited]
