Would anyone have a photo of how the original cooling hoses on a 2001 Merc. carb model, Saltwater o/b went. I need to go back to the original routing and get rid of a Guardian fresh water flush system, which is absolute junk. Or could someone reccomed a good repair manual, with pictures for a 2001. All the manuals I have found are for older engines I need to start at the Merc fresh water flush fitting and re hose to the thermostats and everywhere else the original hoses went. Thanks, T.

MINE IS A 125 SALTWATER SERIES. I DONT KNOW IF THEY WOULD HAVE THE SAME COOLING SYSTEM OR NOT. I DIG MY MANUAL OUT AND SEE WHATS WHAT.

Thanks all, went everywhere today trying to find a repair manual for my year, no luck. Will have to order one. Stopped at Bass Pro Shop, they had a 150 Saltwater on display with the enging cover off. Took a bunch of digital photos, looks the same as mine. I think I'm good to go now. T.
