Was looking at the Bayliner Trophies. Can't believe they are offering a 21' WA with a deisel option. It hits $45K loaded and is severly underpowered in my opinion and doubt it will top 30 knts. a 20 knt cruise maybe. Interesting configuration.

There was a 22 foot Angler at the last boat show I went to with a small diesel. They advertised it as getting 8.24 miles per gallon at 27 mph cruise speed. That's 642 miles on 80 gallons of fuel!!! [excited][excited]

That diesel may be small but is packing some torque... And gas mileage also.....

I have an Evans 25' with 185 hp Volvo diesel I/O. Boat does 35 mph tops and cruises at 30 on less than 6 gph. I don't know of any other boat of this size that gives this amount of performance on such little fuel.
