Thurs & Fri Even Report

Thursday left the pier at 4:30, went to one spot and had a tuff bite. Casting at first had 2 bumps on the lure but light strikes.:eek2: Trolled the same area & had one hit and 21 1/2" fish on the first run. Other than that nothing, headed the farm about 6:45.

Friday left the pier at 4:50, went to the same spot & casted for about an hour with nothing. Started trolling the area with 3 to 4 runs with not one hit. Pulled the lines and would have went to another spot but on the way out there were 3 to 4 boats around it. So I started casting again and the right beside the boat saw a flash and the rod finally got at hit, a 19" fish. Few more cast & another 20 1/2" fish. Packed up, back at the house at 7:00.:))

I was also out on Thursday ~ we had a nice school under us at one point (in Round Bay) but only got one out of there before they moved along. Got the one on a 1/2 oz kastmaster I was flitting around on the bottom.

Slow for me too yesterday casting in some spots south of RB....two 20"ers was all...

The bite was on if you were in front of the third creek south of Sherwood Forest. Don't know the name of it, but several keepers were had that night. Friend of mine was doing well on silver Gotchas..............Fish up to 24" is what I was told...........Caught small blues and perch in the gathering, but I could not manage one of those keepers.........Go figure.
