Today was definitely one of those magical days... everything I tried worked, and I caught at least one fish every place I went.

The most incredible part about today, though, was that the very first fish I caught on the new rig was a 30"er!!!

Tried a new spot out in the bay that I've never fished before. It was great to find my own fish away from everyone else (and all the blow-boaters). Besides the biggun' I got many in the 20's and a few dinks.

Came into the river towards the end of the day, and caught fish at all 5 spots I tried, including a few spots that hadn't been very productive in a while. The river is on fire right now... bottom jigging, swimming lures, and top water all got big strikes and several nice fish (though nothing bigger than 21" made it into the boat).

Rod: The 21"er in the picture is a "river fish" for the tourny board.

Couldn't have asked for a better "inaugural day" for the new outfit. Thanks, again, guys!

Way to ruin a guy's day, Larry...I saw the 30 incher and thought my reign of glory was even shorter than I thought it would be. Nice catching man.
