View Full Version : Cabin Heater
I would like to hear so opinions abt using a small propane, Mr. Heater, in the cabin of my boat, 21ft, Sport Cabin, Parker. They have a low oxygen sensor but are they safe? What do you guys think. Thanks.

I use one and love it. That little thing puts out LOTS of heat. Most boats aren't very airtight but you may feel more comfortable cracking a window, or curtain, just to be safe.

A flame in a plastic boat that runs on gasoline therefore a possiblility for a flammable vapor problem. Not me. Electric is much better.

If you have a flammable vapor issue, you should deal with that. A red-hot electric heating element will ignite vapor just as quickly as a propane flame.
