Fresh water convert - HELP!

I have fished fresh water all my life, but living in Tidewater for the last few years I have seen the light and am ready to make the leap to - (yikes!) - saltwater. I'm not talking Tuna or offshore, just bay stuff. What type boat is right? I want to take the wife and kids, no extreme stuff, just spot, croaker, rock, etc. Got any advice? Thanks

Unless a porta-pottie is required for the women and you need a cuddy cabin to accommodate them a nice 20 foot center console would work well. Just be careful of what you buy...........
