Well I had leftover GP crabs sitting in the fridge so I decided to make some good ole fried hard crabs. I first picked about a 1lb of crab meat and made a crab cake mixture. I cleaned the cold crabs then stuffed them with the crab cake mixture. Poured the batter over them and deep fried.
This was my kids first experience with a fried hard crab and by the look on those faces they were in heaven!!!

The batter is actually from a restaurant. I was at work telling a coworker that I was going to make them and make the batter. He told me he had good fried hard crabs at a place in Essex named Jad's. I work in Middle river so I called them and they sold me a gallon of their batter. It sure was good and I probably have enough to do a few more batches even though we only eat fried food like this once or twice a year.

Very Nice! I'm sure they enjoyed it. There is a restaurant named Gunnings off Route 100 & BW parkway that has them on the menu still? I think. I ate one and damn that was good!
