Does anyone have any of the various types of motor mount lock devices on their small outboards (30-50HP Range)?
I seen a few but most are made for motors with thumb screws. My motor is hard mounted to the transom.
Any suggestions for the best type of lock?

Trying to avoid being a victim. I bought the hull from a guy who had his motor stolen and was so mad he sold the boat!

I would look into the McGard locking devices. I use them on mine. It's a special nut like the ones used on automobile wheels, but they're made from stainless so they won't go bad in the salt water.
