Engine Kill Switches

Does anybody have any experience with installing aftermarket kill switches on stern dirve units? It would be going on an '86 Mercruiser.

Since I spend alot of time crabbing and fishing by myself, I would like to install one to prevent a runaway boat.

Any possible sources?????

They're required on outboard racing boats ... I would try companies that supply to them such as http://www.rickracers.com/. Should be pretty simple to install, just interrupt the ignition primary circuit near the key switch.

Thanks to both. I've seen them on almost if not every newer boat the last few years equipped with an OB, but notsure about the I/O.
