Ordered Showtime yesterday so I could watch the "Super Six" Super Middleweight tournament. First two fights are Abraham VS. Taylor and Froch VS. Dirrell.
Taylor was viciously knocked out in the final seconds of the 12th round. Froch was gifted a split decision win over Dirrell.
The fights were O.K., I've seen worse, but I can see why it wasn't PPV. I don't think Taylor should continue to fight, he is on a terrible loosing streak(albeit against good opposition) and has been ko'd three times, this time being the absolute worst. Of course, I said the same thing about Roy Jones and he seems to have rejuvenated himself, but I don't think Taylor will be able to pull that off.
Froch (IMHO) was totally outboxed by Dirrell. However, I do believe that Dirrell lost his confidence somewhere around the sixth or seventh rounds and began holding, falling down and complaining to the ref trying to gain some sort of favor. Dirrell probably isn't ready to be world champ, but I do believe he won the fight.

-Edited to say the Showtime commentators absolutely gag, they must be the worst in the business. Antonio Tarver actually referred to Froch as Crotch!
