I am looking for some help, and I was told this is the place to go. My husband, and I are looking for a new boat. We recently visited the Baltimore boat show, and saw the Judge 27 Chesapeake. The boat was beautiful, and the price was aggressive. We were very impressed with the boat. Their salesman was very informative, and did a great job explaining the differences between Judge Yachts, and the competitors. He brought several key points to our attention. The thing that really caught our attention is the fact they use all composites in the production of their boats. It is my understanding that the other boat builders that build similar style boats still use wood for the stingers, and decks. This surprised me. The other thing I liked was the fact they are willing to work with us to build a boat with what we need, and not what they have in stock. This boat is at the top of our list. If anyone can help me with some feedback about their boats I would love to hear form you. If you own one I would love to here how the boat is holding up.

most of us love Judges and aspire to own one. (27 Downeast is mine!) They are definately priced right and you are getting a truly custom made boat. All-composite construction of hull and deck is great. Good fishing boat. I'm not sure of your tastes, b/c the Chesapeake I saw was bare-bones, and is def more of a fishing boat than a cruising boat. I know my significant other will require the enclosed head that the Downeast offers and the Chesapeake does not.

B-mail Mega-Jack here on TF. He has one and is very satisfied.
I wanted the Judge 27 but my wife wouldnt let me spend the 15k+more. The only negatives I see on the boat are the now over 8'6"beam for towing (should get a permit to be legal) and the fact that it is really closer to 26' not 27 and you get hit with the extra slip fee money. Other than that Judge makes an excellant boat. Most owners I spoke with when I was shopping sung the praises of the boat and more importantly the customer service and relationship established between them and the company.
Good luck!!!

I have a Judge 27 Chesapeake its a 2000 model with a Honda
Haven't had any trouble with boat or motor. I spend every day
on it in the summer time my wife spends every weekend with me
We love our boat. We also had it built the way we wanted it was fun
watching the progress as they constructed it. You can bmail any questions you might have.
