ok, sounds great..... BUT, call me a wuss, but a captains meeting the night b4 the tournament and it's from 8:30-9pm with a social hour all the way over in VB and you are posting this on the N Neck board ?? That might be ok IF the captains meeting is optional and you can sign up in advance by mail. I can't find that in the rules.

also, why have a "lines out" at 2pm for a striper tourney ?? never heard that b4...... scales close at 5pm should be all you need.

I would suspect its to give all the JMU alumni time to wake up from the hangover from the "captains meeting" the night before.

I ran Brian's thoughts through the organizers and they agree with him. Optional capt meeting, you can sign up through the website and the lines out at 2pm rule no longer applies. As for the NNK posting - I know there are a lot of JMU folks in CVA - most of whom I know keep their boats on and around the NNK. Don't have a complete handle on what the participation will look like as this is the 1st event.

More thoughts / comments ? Send 'em.

This sounds like it could be a fun tourney! If we get someone to book that date I will see if they are interested in fishing the tourney too! Currently that date is still open.............
