I need to mount my bow mount trolling motor to my front deck of my 16ft Scout. Last year I used Minn Kota expansion nuts to fasten the 55 riptide and they worked their way out by the end of the season. Im thinking of going thru my front anchor hatch and then digging out the foam to get to the bottom of the deck where I had drilled originally and then bolting it in. Any tips appreciated.

I have a Scout that I needed help mounting hardware. I contacted customer service and they were a big help. The contact info is below. Scout makes a solid hull I'm suprised that I don't see more out there. Good luck.

Thanks. I talked to a Scout guy last year and he suggested the expansion bolts with some super-duper adhesive. I need to ask the question again.
