Sad to say the fall Sandbridge/Oceanfront big red drum run looks to be about over after the N/NW blow this last weekend?! Doesn't mean ya can't still hit it and catch a straggler like I attempted at the SB Market tonight but the best of it has swam by us :helpsmilie:

So locally its time for me to be rockin & speckn when not headed south to Hatteras for shot at Big Red or Rocks :D

Get ya some

TDAU,

Caught 2 small specks in Lynnhaven this evening :cool2:

I did hear there was some big reds up ES way and at mouth of Bay?! That said, if you can take a quality shot ~ NE 5-10, after dark, high tide, with fresh/primo bait it's still worth it

Mark how many drum did you get out there this year? Only got one, my first, but we caught three on that trip. One was a 50.5" PIG, but mine taped at 47.

Terry congrats on your first big red!

Caught just two myself a 45" & a 48" this fall and was lucky to get them ~ tough year. Was better yet seeing my bud Robert C&R his first big red (52") from the beach, Parko return to action post missing last years drum run due to back surgery by releasing a 48", and Ol'Clamlipper land his 53" fish.

Was a different Fall at Sandbridge this year. Making the effort to scout the beach out w/o fishin' really paid off. Was surprised by the lack of fish landed at Damneck, the LIP, and even the Refuge?!
