I have oil leaking onto my propellor on my Yamahah 9.9 2 stroke from the lower unit. I'm gonna call Copper's and talk to them, but wanted some advice on the subject. This is my first gas engine, so my knowledge is pretty thin. Thanx for any advice.

My 50 Johnson 2stroke does that, it's coming from the thru hub exhaust.

It's from the build up of pressure in your gas tank. If you un clip the fuel line when not in use it should stop leaking. Used to have the same problem with a johnson 50 I have.

Take a good look at the oil drip. If its very blackand sooty, it could be from too much oil in your fuel. It doesn't grt burnt and collects in the exhaust tube, then dripps out when the motors sits. Had same problem on Evinrude 90 SPL.
If oil is very clear and clean then thats another problem.
