mini inshore slam

After going to soccer games all morning and doing a little work in the garage I was getting sir crazy so I grabbed my waders and hit a little slough about a half hour away from the house. The tide was just starting to ebb when I got there. I fished for about two hours and did more exploring than actual fishing. I caught 3 throw back flounder, 1 throw back speck, and a pup that would've kept, but I threw him back. It was a peaceful afternoon of fishing and it got me out of the house and I caught a few fish to boot. They fish ate a chartreuse gulp on a 3/8 ounce lead head.

I haven't been since the seiners starting catching all the Specks in the spring. Recently got a 16' Skiff AKA "Thumper" so watch for me.

In my defense the wind WAS BLOWING at 15 - 20 from the south!!:D
