Anyone having any luck finding rocks in the Colonial Beach area? Planning to fish around 301 bridge this weekend, and wante to see if I should try some place else.

I've been catching 18-27'' Rockfish around the lumps south of Colonial Beach this week.

are the lumps at the mouth of monroe bay? or further down

The lumps are mostly south of Monro Bay down to Nomini Creek. I have been trolling with 3/4 oz bucktails with chartreuse 4" curly tails. Good Luck .

Don't worry, they're curable! Actually, the bottom of the Potomac up near Colonial Beach has hundreds of lumps that people fish fish Stripers.
