I am thrilled to announce that I am the new owner/operator of the Tat-Tuna. For those of you who don't know she is a 31ft. Cape Horn powered by reliable and quiet 250 E-tecs engines and rigged to the hilt with electronics and safety equipment. My plan for this boat is to take advantage of the awesome high-speed vertical jigging during the fall and winter months, as well as the world class King Mackeral fishing and bottom fishing. I have been perfecting my technique with the jigging for the past 4 years. I have been deep dropping the waters off of Hatteras for years now and have lots of options available to catch many different species. Then of course cobia season next year... The Tat-tuna will be rigged with a tower and controls and electronics for a much more enjoyable and comfortable day on the water. I'm sure going to love having a big fishbox and tons of space in this new boat! Jimmy is going to continue running his website for both this boat and the original Above Average at Tat-Tuna & Above Average Sportfishing and Charters - HOME PAGE and ofcourse my website will have the updated info very soon at Above Average Sportfishing and Charters - Home.The charter pricing will be posted as soon as well. If anyone is interested in advertising both on the websites and logos on the side of my boats please feel free to contact me to make arrangements. I also have a friend that I'm going to look into filming fishing videos and having the availability to bring along bikini girls for those interested. ;)Thank you all for the great support last year and I am looking forward to fishing with many of you this coming year. Time to drop the jigs who's ready to go fishing?!!!!
