Paper Shell 10-11-2009 & 10-23-2009

It is possible Caught this crab on Sunday's Outing October 11, 2009 as a 6-1/2" very light paper shell. Released in hopes to be caught the following week? It appears that happened. When caught the upper left claw tip was nipped & Friday October 23, 2009 He returns heavier somewhat as predicted & hoped....

We laid two 1200' lines in the West R. this AM and got only 7 Jimmies and 4 Sooks for our effort.

Pulled the lines, put boat on trailer and headed to Pax.

First run of 1200' told me we should have went there first!

Managed to take home 2 baskets of the Pax's finest. Left them biting!!!!
Maybe this was not the last trip of the season for me.

BTW: Pouring down when I walked out of the house this morning, but the second the boat went in the water it stoped raining. Haven't seen a drop of rain since.

Gorgeous day on the water! I knew it would be since the weather fornecasters predicted otherwise.

I'd love to go again, but doubt if I'll be able to. Honey-do list is continually growing. :(
