do you all catch any red pups on seaside, va?

i posted in the main forum for tips on catching pups around the eastern shore of va, and and i was told to try the seaside of the shore. so i was wondering if any of you all catch any pups from watchapreage or quinby? i have done hardly any seaside fishing, so im kind of a noob. i do some hard crabbing for several weeks out of quinby every spring, before the peeler run, but other than that im clueless about recreational fishing. most of what ive done is bayside. also, i do all my fishing from a kayak, so my distance is limited to within 1-2 miles of the launch. not asking for any secret spots, just want some general information on whether there are even enough pups on the seaside to target, and if so, a general idea on where to find em.
i am so happy about finding this site. ive posted on some other sites, but they dont have near the amount of traffic as this one does, im really excited and appreciate the help so far!

I've heard but not witnessed the best bite on redfish is the first full moon in April n the Quinby inlet .....but I'm new to the area as well.

We catch small pups all summer long in the bay behind OCMD on jigheads and Gulp baits up in the shallow water s near the marsh . They get here the same time the rays do . When you see the rays come though cast right on there backs B/C the reds are right behind them . We all so catch some under the lights at nite with the same bait . I think me and my son noah are about the only ones down here fishing for them . We catch more flounder when we are red fishing than when we go flounder fishing .

well if they're as far north as OC, and i know there south around rudee, im sure there are some in the middle around watchapreauge. thanks for the info.
