Got this one after only half an hour this morning. He was right on three does, sniffing like a dog. He thought he was gonna get lucky, nope, I did. A friend took a nice doe too. For all the internet police, here's the pic, with tag notched.

if im not mistaken....you are not permitted to use yellow rope...or if you do...you have to have a orange flag on it...im no expert ....might wanna ask someone that knows alittle more about it than me......:rolleyes:

Got no issue with a man that like to eat deer meat as much as IDA MEA. Killing that many deer is a lot of work.

Tag does not appear to be attached to the head, rather the rope laid around the antler base. It is laid on top of the head.:nono:
I believe technically attaching to the head would require some kind of screw into the skull.:yes:
Does anybody carry screws and a screw driver. Maybe I could use my screw in equipment hangers.:D
I am just just as guilty. I have attached to the leg, some times through the year. Sometimes..............
Never physically to the head.

You don't actually attach the tag in Va. You just notch your license, I would have made it closer but I didn't want anyone seeing the numbers. Now I gotta pop some does before "earning" another chance at a buck.
