Shot 4 in the head

As I said in a post last night, I was going grocery shopping today. It was the managed hunt in a Montgomery County park in Germantown, MD. ( shotgun) Shot 4 does and didn't ruin a drop of meat! I just got finished butchering all four and Man do I have some meat. I have a friend that owns Carter Que BBQ in Mt. Airy and he is going to smoke 4 hind quarters and 4 shoulders. The rest of the meat will be burger, sausage, bologna and of course TENDERLOINS. These hunts are great meat hunts and it takes the pressure out of the regular hunting season. Now it's time to be selective. Guys that know me are welcome to stop by for a taste:thumbup:............Gary

way to go on the slay:yes:them park hunts are necesarry so things dont get so out of whack....dam shame i live so far.....aint nothing like a skinnin party:thumbup:way to go.....GET THEM FREZZERS FULL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

4 in one morning is awesome. How many did you see, and did you see any big boys? We have LBRP on 12/11, can't wait.

I didn't see many deer this time. Other than the 4 I shot, I saw one spike and a few at a distance. There were 2 fairly nice bucks shot but you have the chance for a monster, especially with a hunt during the rut. I have another one Monday at Rachel Carson Park. Even though you are in the park with a shotgun, the really big bucks are that way for a reason. It's a fun hunt and I have been doing them since 1995. I hope you enjoy yours..........Gary
