My friend just bought his first boat and wants me to bring it home for him. He had to buy a new trailer since the boat was on a lift. I am wondering if someone could help with suggestions on setting up a trailer. Boat is 1989 Bayliner 2455. Trailer is drive on performance. Help

Thats kind of a big question, what do you mean by "set up"? If it were me, I'd try to load the boat on the trailer at a ramp with little traffic that you could wade around the boat and see how it fits. If the bunks/rollers are out of whack for the boat, pull the trailer and make the adjustments while the boat floats at the dock, then try again. After you get the trailer roughly adjusted to the boat, you can start moving the boat fore and aft or the axles fore and aft to get the tongue weight right.
