The last two cold nights seemed to have done em in, at least where I've been crabbin.

Averaged 3 crabs a run. Moved out to deeper water (14ft - 18ft) lookin for better results. Again, 3 crabs per run. Wind got up pretty good, but the crabs just weren't there in numbers today anyway. May be worth a shot up by the power plant but I pulled the boat for the season.

Thanks for everyone's help and support this yr. Lookin forward to doing it again next yr.

See ya'll at snood fest.

Stingray, thanks for your reports and updates this year, Polecat and I caught them pretty good last Wednesday, but I think your right the cold nights are shutting them down.See ya at the Snoodfest.

Sorry you didnt do as well as you would have liked Sting. Loved your posts all year though.

Beautiful black fall crabs are available from Comms working the main bay with pots if anyone wants to buy some.

On Saturday I went the other way on the Pax with my youngest son Brandon and some friends on a charter.

No hijacking intended.

Thanks for the report, my last trip was last week and it had slowed down quite a bit. Going fishin' this Monday. Looks like the same area you were at.
