Romancoke 11-7

i hope every one got out this weekend! went tot Romancoke this morning, water was calm and had the place to my self. started fishing the docks to see if anything was hiding there but no luck. put on a tsunami shad paddle tail and went out trolling in 25' of water, trolled for an hour with no hits didn't see and birds working nothing on the ff then wham reel goes off and i start reeling, pulled in a fat 14" rock, even being short it got the skunk off.

left around 1030 with no other bites, still a nice day to be out on the water. anybody have off Wednesday. i think it's supposed to be nice.

Glad that you were fishing.

I was planning to go on Wednesday. But my wife sprained her ankle badly yester day. Last night I cooked her favorite foods for next three days, so I can go fishing. If she can’t walk well, I am staying home.

sorry to hear that Joe, i'm going to try tomorrow morning, the weathers not looking good, saturday and sunday are supposed to be in the 60s not going to be too many more like that.

going to use the tandem jig setup and troll the drops from Jonas Green. not set in stone if there's a better location let me know. i'm loaded and ready to go.
