11/8 Rappahannock

Fished from 8:30 to 11:00 Sunday morning in the mouth of the Corrotoman and managed 2 rockfish trolling. One hit a small white bucktail with a charteuse grub and the other hit a gold and black storm bait. Both were close to being keepers but I did not have anything to measure with so back they went. Ran across a couple schools of breaking fish but could not get anything to bite jigging. Great day on the water. First Rockfish caught on my boat so glad to have the skunk off it.

I fished Sat. trolled between 8 and 10 for about 3 hours caught 2 nice fish 44 in.37 lbs 42 inches 32 lbs fat fish fish were full of sea lice went sunday 3hours 1 lost at the boat it was a hog biggest i've ever seen in the river my angler gave it slack 10 foot from the boat watched it spit my bait pissed me off.Fished 2 hours this evening 1 fish 28 full of sea lice their coming 1 more week and it'll be great in the river
