Anyone used Sea Cast for Transom repair

Wanted to know if anyone has used Sea Cast to fix a transome before. If so, what did you think? Was it easy to use, strong, better than wood? How was the installation? And what type of repair method did you use (remove inner skin, outter skin, or just gutted it)?
