seven deer in two hunts

I managed to take seven deer out of Montgomery Co parks in the managed hunts. I butchered four myself and took the other three to Sam's Deer Processing in Eldersberg, MD. Sam makes all kinds of specialties with venison. I got bolongna, kielbasa, hot Italian sausage and a smokes hind. I have a friend that owns Carter Que BBQ in Mt. Airy and he is smoking four hinds and four shoulders for me. If you enjoy venison and don't have a place to hunt, check out the Montgomery Co. Parks managed hunts. I got a few farms to hunt but these Park hunts are meat hunts and I don' have to shoot up the farms. I can be more selective there. You also have the chance for a BIG buck in the parks. I hunted Nov. 4th and 9th and WE all know how many big bucks are in the parks:D. You just have to shoot a doe first and the buck has to be 8 points with an inside spread of 15".........Gary

Excellent work there. The hunt manager should "invite" you back for next year. Your absolutely right about the BIG bucks, I've seen a few first hand. Can't wait for my turn on 12/11 at LBRP. You certainly did your part, hope you get a Big buck now. Pat
