I have an older motor (newly rebuilt) and want to get rid of the older style point distributor and up grade to a newer style pointless distributor....any recommendations? It is a PCM 302 Ford motor........

Good move[smile]. I converted my 302 using a Prestolite electronic ignition 6 years ago. It's worked flawlessly. Motor gets better fuel economy and runs smoother at idle. Back then it cost $115 I believe from ADT but they are available from other auto parts disributers. It's easy to install yourself.

I changed my v8 chevy engine. Make sure you get marine dist. I ordered my on a Monday afternoon and got it ups on Tues. Got mine from Lighthouse Marine Distributors. $219 total. Everything included dist, cap, wires, coil.
