fuel lift pump - evinrude

i have 2000 evinrude 200 hp engine and fuel lift pump leak a couple drops per wk. should I repair this asap or can it wait? if i replace it with a new one does it require any special instruction?

Don't know about special instructions on the repair but no fuel leak is good. Under the right circumstances it doesn't take much to ignite fuel vapors. It's also an environmental hazard.
