there is debris everywhere. not me!! let the trash wash through. just my .02 but i bet with the wild barometric changes the fish are not biting.

Yea, itching to go myself but not sure if the fish will be there on Saturday. Will all this fresh water run off drop the salinity enough to push bait out of the river? I don’t know the effect of all this constant wind on the bait and fish either. If I do go I know I will need to be careful of debris in the water… may troll up a trash can! :eek2:

Good luck if you go. Will post our results if we do.

It could get expensive if you run over logs just under the surface. I'm with R&B on this one. It should wash out by the 21st. If you have to go be careful.

That baby looks very familiar to me... She is definitely a keeper..

I was supposed to be fishing today. Drove down and looked around but there was to much of everything (water in the road to get to my grandmother's house, water at the marina to put the boat in the water, wind to really want to be out on the water today) for me..

Unfortunately, I have to pick my time off at least 6 weeks in advance. This was going to be my BIG fishing weekend. So I will probably be going down tomorrow afternoon and out tomorrow PM and some on Sunday if you want to go let me know.

I think you should still have my pager number.

I'm going to walk in the woods behind my house and pick up any fish that got stuck in the bushes after the flood recedes. The briars should act like good nets. :helpsmilie:

Way to many floating alligators for me,I think I'll wait till atleast Tuesday the bait between 8 and 10 has got to be busted up pretty bad it'll take a few days to get it back.I got 8 fish over 30 lbs.in the river last week, they aint going far water is getting just right just don't lose a lower unit on a floating pier.
