I was up in Reedville this past weekend. Took some shots while I was there. They may be of some interest to those of the Northern Neck.
Anyone who has traveled from Burgess to Kilmarnock knows this spot....Cemetary Hill just outside of Ditchley.

Just down the road....Rehoboth United Methodist Church. Some early citizens in there going back to the 1800's.

Next stop historic Wicomico Church with even earlier settlers going back to the 1650's. Some of my wife's folks occupy this one too.

Sampson's Wharf, the site of the family plantation and a Steamboat Landing bringing goods and people down from Baltimore.

Cockrell's Creek named after some more relatives. Nice offshoot of the Greater Wicomico river.

The Morris House built by a Yankee who along with a couple of others helped save the area from economic ruin after the Civil War. One of the leaders of the Menhaden fishery. This place sold for 6k back in the 60's.

The Elijah Reed house, the man for which the town became named. When fishing played out up North, he came South right after the Civil War.
