Rudee inlet report

I got out there at about 7:00 am and saw many other people out there in their kayaks. It was a very pretty morning except for the wind. With the high tide covering some of the grass i thought that i was going to catch something. Not a bite. Moved to the mouth of rudee and tried some squid on the bottom for any creature that would bite. Not even a nibble. Some days just arent meant to be. It was still nice to be on the water in my yak.

We've all had those days, thats for sure. Still nice to get away, and on the water.

It was really nice meeting you guys this morning. I had 2 stripers
one on the fly and one trolling with yozuri minnows.

Nice outing with a great group. Wish the wind would have backed off some but still better than not trying. I ended up with one redfish about 15" on a 2" storm.It will get better soon hopefully.
