Hello all,

My name is CJ Siebler and i live in San Diego California. I am VERY into my kayak fishing and most fishing is done from the yak. Over here we do a lot of big game chasing out in kelp beds but also fish bays for bass halibut and such. This past weekend the 2nd stop on the PLastic Navy Tournament Trail was in Mission Bay. 134 anglers fished the tournament and i place 6th with 7.49 lbs of Spotted Bay Bass. Welcome aboard, I spent a few years in SD while in the Coast Guard. Does the Tiajuanna River still pollute the SD bay? I remember days when we couldn't go in the water for all the fecal matter. Have the Bonita come back to the west coast yet?? I try to fish for Albacore every other year out of Fishermans Landing.

The river did duump a lot of pollution into sdbay this year with all the rains.

The bonito never left la jolla this year and we have caught them all year including some big ones. As of yesterday the albacore are 50 miles off mission bay however they are reporting some peanuts 10 miles and even 4 miles out. Looks like a good seasn this year, Last year was epic so this year who knows!!!!!!
