View Full Version : Fishing Report Excellent start on the Rapp

We had a good start to the season this weekend on the Rapp! Fished Thursday and it was slow catching one nice 26 at the white stone bridge. Saturday turned up a bit more. Fished between Best Boatyard and the bridge and picked up 8 fish (caught limit) that were all between 23 and 28 in the afternoon. The birds were going crazy and there was tons of bait in the 35 to 40 foot depth. Sunday, was a bit slower but we picked up four keepers that were all about 24 inches in front of Best Boatyard again. Bait was spread out and the fish were scattered a bit. Im glad that the fish are really in the area and finally biting! A buddy caught a 42 and a 36 fishing down river from us on Sunday. Way to go Slap!

Sounds good! Give me a shout on the radio if you see us. Ill be on channel 68 all day. I have a 24 foot sea foam green Sea Hunt center console. I am fishing Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Good luck out there!!!

Thats what Im talking about! Brigitte, we will be back friday at 7 to head out. Hoping we can get into some of those 40 inchers this weekend! Thanks for posting the pic. Hopefully, you can take a few more of us this weekend! We are going to fish friday, saturday and sunday. See you guys soon.
